ALPHA FLEX grade PU timing belts

ALPHA FLEX grade PU timing belts

Open-Ended Polyurethane (PU) Timing Belts

Open-ended polyurethane (PU) timing belts are widely used in numerous systems requiring length adjustments and across various industries, thanks to their high durability, excellent abrasion resistance, and precise performance. These belts are typically produced in long rolls and can be cut to various sizes as needed.

Applications:

CNC machinery for precise linear axis movement
Robotics and automation systems for accurate component positioning
Packaging and printing lines for controlled material and paper handling
Industrial conveyors in systems requiring adjustable belts
Linear timing belts are made from thermoplastic polyurethane, offering high resistance to abrasion and wear. They are standardly reinforced with steel cords, but specialized versions are also available for applications such as lifting, positioning, and material transport.

Structure and Features

Linear belts are available in standard imperial profiles, metric T, metric AT, RPP, HTD, STD, and flat belts, all with precise tolerances in thickness, tooth shape, and pitch.
Nylon fabric covering on the drive side reduces friction between the belt and pulley, lowering operating noise. On the transport side, nylon covering promotes smoother belt movement, which is particularly beneficial for conveying and accumulating products.
These belts can be produced in special materials, such as those resistant to low or high temperatures, or food-grade versions. They are also available in various colors to meet specific industrial requirements.
