Dynamo Belt
Description: The Dynamo belt is a component that transfers the rotational energy of the engine to the alternator. This belt is wrapped around a pulley connected to the crankshaft. As the engine starts and the crankshaft rotates, this belt moves and transmits the rotational energy to the alternator. The alternator, which is a type of generator, converts this force into electricity and charges the battery, supplying power to various parts of the vehicle. Although the main function of the Dynamo belt is to transfer the engine's rotational force to the alternator, in modern cars, both the timing belt and this belt are responsible for driving other engine components, such as the water pump, hydraulic steering pump, oil pump, air conditioning compressor, and more.
