Dynamo Belt
The dynamo belt is a belt that transfers the rotational energy from the engine to the dynamo. This belt is wound around a pulley connected to the crankshaft. As the engine starts and the crankshaft rotates, the belt also moves, transferring the rotational energy to the dynamo. The dynamo, which is a type of generator, converts this energy into electricity and charges the battery to provide the necessary power for the vehicle's various components.
While the main function of the dynamo belt is, as its name suggests, to transfer the rotational energy from the engine to the dynamo, in modern vehicles, the timing belt and this belt also serve to drive other engine components, such as the water pump, power steering pump, oil pump, air conditioning compressor, and more.
