Role of Rapier Belts in Weaving Machines
Rapier weaving machines utilize tools called rapiers to insert the weft through the warp shed. Rapier belts enable this movement with high speed and exceptional precision. In most cases, two rapiers (left and right) work in coordination, with the belt providing the necessary power and motion for this transfer.
Technical Features of Rapier Belts
• High resistance to abrasion and tearing• Uniform, smooth, and shock-free movement
• Ability to handle high speeds without slippage or vibration
• Excellent longitudinal stability to prevent loss of precision over time
• Easy installation and replacement in the machine
