Rubber Conveyor Belts

Structure and Materials

These belts are made from natural or synthetic rubber (such as neoprene or SBR) and reinforced with fabric layers (cotton, nylon, or polyester) or steel cords. The surface can be smooth, textured, or grooved.

Features

High resistance to abrasion, impact, tension, and varying temperatures (-40°C to +120°C). Resistance to oil and acids can be adjusted depending on the rubber type.

Applications

Mining (transporting stones and coal)
Cement and steel factories
Recycling lines and handling of abrasive materials

Additional Specifications

Widths range from 20 cm to over 2 meters, with thicknesses from 5 to 20 mm. Multi-ply models are designed for heavy loads.
There are two main surface patterns for rubber conveyor belts:
Smooth
Textured (Cleated)
