Timing Belt Roller
This component is an important and consumable part of a car engine. It consists of a bearing and a plastic roller on which the timing belt runs. It is usually replaced during timing belt service or replacement.
Failure of this roller can cause serious engine damage, lead to timing belt breakage, and ultimately result in bent valves. Low-performance roller failure may be caused by dirt, water ingress, or engine oil leaking into the timing belt cover. The first sign of roller failure is usually noise in cold weather.
It is recommended to purchase a complete timing kit to ensure all related components are replaced together.
